We are running a realtime container on a marketing campaign.
The OOTB container endpoint we customized with some additional fields. Therefore we have our own Realtime container rest-service.
Now I would like to check the performance of the individual components of the steps the dataflows takes.
I can check the overall performance by turning on Service monitoring for the endpoint and see the individual response times.
But i would like to know more specific info like the time it was in de strategy.. Interaction history etc.
The only way I can think of is to check the performance by running a Test dataflow with a similair setup during the performance test. That way you can lookup the dataflow performance in the test-run screen.
For scheduled outbound campaigns I know you can turn on specific logging, so the dataflow log is not cleared with finishing up the campaign.
What kind of customization did you do to add additional fields? OOTB Container service has built in mechanism to have more data and should not require a new REST service. I would highly recommend you stick to the existing service and not create your own and then have to worry about things like upgrades and performance impacts.
