Pega Upgrade 7.3.1 to 8.4 process

We are planning to upgrade our application which is using Customer Service application from 7.3.1 to 8.4

Can we directly upgrade from 7.3.1 to 8.4? or do we have to go to 8.1 first and then to 8.4?

is these any documentation for on premise upgrade from 7.3.1 to 8.4 directly?

Based on any medium complex application using customer service, how much time will it take to upgrade from 7.3.1 to 8.4?

 

Can anyone kindly help with the answers.
