I need to upgrade Java version from 7 to 8. I would like to understand performance impact/change after upgrade.Have few questions:Is there any possibility of performance change (increase/decrease) after upgrade? Is there any recommendation on change in JVM argument or any other settings? Please provide inputs if someone have experience or performed similar exercise. Other PSC members should be able to add to their insights to my response. You can check the below link in order to get an idea how normal applications perform when migrated to Java 8. http://engineering.indeedblog.com/blog/2016/09/job-search-web-app-java-8-migration/ Also, if you have TLS related integrations, you would have to keep in mind that Java 8 uses TLS 1.2 protocol by default.
