Post Upgrade Activities (From Pega 7.1.8 to 7.3.1)
We have updated our environment from Pega 7.1.8 to 7.3.1. As part of post migration activities, following are few doubts:
When checked from Designer Studio -> System -> Release -> Upgrade -> Upgrade Tools -> Upgrade CSS, under Pega-ProCom ruleset there are list of CSS files being shown for upgrade, should we click on run to upgrade all those?
When checked from Designer Studio -> System -> Release -> Upgrade -> Validate -> Revalidate and Save, for few classes (Type) there are list of rules being shown, should we, should we click on run to upgrade all those?
Request to confirm whether under Designer Studio -> System -> Release -> Upgrade options, for the above said points, aswell as anything more we found in this, should we run these utilities as part of Post Upgrade activities?
And also in the Data Tables instances, there is a convert button being show, should we execute this convert aswell?
Hi @ananm, Thanks for your inputs. I have a major concern with Revalidate and Save. For each rule type we are getting tones of rules to revalidate. Should we perform this option for each rule type? or Is it optional and we can leave this step from executing?
