Printing any step with lots of information (Pega 8.5)

User would like to print any view in a step using browser printing capability. However when the contents inside a step are long and do not fit into one page, pega outputs only one page (see attachment). This seems to be limited by the overflow-y:hidden CSS property but I fails to figure out how to override that (or other relateed properties).

Using PDF export smartshape is not working as this has to be added to lots of view and it does have problem in outputing Japanese characters. So simply printing is preferred.

  • How to print long contents on multiple pages.
  • How to, if possible, hide the screen controls, when printing a particular step?

I am thinking of defining an addition css with @media print, but I don't know how to do it and wondering if some of you have experience on that.

Thank you.
