I had to go to Ubuntu Forums to find that I had to Edit /etc/network/interfaces in the VM. But that particular directory is locked in the SAE VM. So I set the Network Adapter to NAT in my virtual machine. With this setting, the VM now shows a proper URL. Not sure if it will work for you but with this setting I am getting a URL and am able to login. Does this forum work? No replies to my thread except from me.
