Product Builder for Insurance - coverages relation with risks
Hi guys,
We have a situation in the project were we have different coverages related to different risks associated to the same policy. For instance in a life insurance policy main insured person will be allowed to select coverage A, B or C but his wife can only select B, D or E.
I did not identified in Product Builder any place were we can define different risk objects (i.e.: main insuree, wife, kids) and relate specific coverages for each of them.
Any sugestion?
We have not associated risk types with Individual Life insurance because there is only one thing covered - a life. There can be multiple lives covered, but all of the same type.
In this example, if the coverages are actually different between a husband and wife, you can create different components, e.g. Death-Husband, Death-Wife. However, I would expect that the coverage would be the same, but that the limits may be different. So it's either same coverage (component) with different limits, or they are two different components (husband, wife).
Otherwise you would need to extend the application to differentiate between Husband and Wife, but I do not believe that is the necessary.
