Property-Rule Ruleset Version In Resolution Ruleset
hi,
in application development, my team mostly uses localize value for static value( Base on Requirement user ), and then After development continues into phase 2, the user asks to change the contents of the local value. (i attach example property using Prompt values )
Is property-rule can be upgraded to the latest version (to the unlock version of the ruleset version) ?? because when i try, there is warning message :
"A property of this name already exists for the chosen applies to class. It is either inherited from a parent class or in a different ruleset than the one chosen. Duplicate property definitions can negatively impact system performance.
Do you want to create anyway?"
Do you want to create anyway?"
thanks
Hello,
You can create a property rule that overrides an existing property rule (one with the same name and the same or subclass Applies To key part) that is in a lower version of the RuleSet or in a RuleSet and version that is lower on your RuleSet list. However, Process Commander restricts the Type values for the new property.
The following link will give you more details : https://pdn.pega.com/how-change-type-property-rule-higher-ruleset-version
T he message you see is only a warning message and will not prevent you from creating the property.
You can alternatively delete the older version of the property if you would like.
Thanks,
Gisela
