PRPC 6.3 SP1 WAS Support
PRPC 6.3 SP1 WAS Support. Last update in Support Guide indicates WAS 8.5 is supported. Our Middleware team wants to uplift all WAS apps to 188.8.131.52; is there support for 6.3 SP1 on this version? Sorry if this is a dupe; didn't see it listed after asking the first time.

As stated by Nicholas Loving, WAS 8.5 is supported for PRPC 6.3 SP1. There is no official statement about WAS 8.5.5 being supported for PRPC 6.3 SP1, as it was never tested (it may not have been out at the time 6.3 was released, and Pega has a policy about not backward-testing old releases of PRPC with newer platforms). As stated above, this should work; if it does not, call GCS for support, and they will try to solve the issue.
If the root cause of the problem stems from the fact that the older version of PRPC is not designed to handle functionality in the newer WAS, then Pega may request that you upgrade your PRPC version to a release that supports that newer version.
