PRPCServiceutil exporting entire application instead of the product
We are able to implement end to end export and import through prpcserviceutil using jenkins. But I can see it's exporting entire application rules instead of the product. We have passed the product name, version and application name, version as parameter. Also the exported file is getting save in pega service export folder, what is the process/command to export it to a file system. Thanks for the assistance.
If your requirement is to export/import only the RAP file then you might use only productName, productVersion and if you want to do for application then you should use applicationName, applicationVersion parameters as specified in the documentation below,
I was able to successfully deploy multiple Product files across various environments without providing the applicationVersion and applicationName parameters, may be you can look into my blog to cross check the configurations.
Sorry for late reply, We have an SR open as well. I will explain the issue that i have found out for this -
Pega Platform version? 7.3.1
prpcServiceUtils version? 7.31
Remove applicationName and applicationVersion parameters then run the jenkins job then share the console log. - It's giving product not found error attached error.
jenkins-build.xml - No change in this.
Screenshots of your Jenkins job configuration. - Exact steps from your article.
Here are the points i can figure out, - the reason it's not able to find the product without application name, probbly because we have used the server user name/password, instead of pega operator credential. If we are using pega operator credential, it's failing with NTLM authentication error. As a workaround, we have created pega operator same as server user with same credential. Still no luck.
Please assists. Also is there a way to export in nexus or in filepath?
