Wherever there is a colon (:) it is replaced by \:
Seems to be an encoding issue to me . In prpcServiceUtilsWrapper.xml "propertyfilegenerator" class from prdeploy.jar is being used which is responsible for creating the .properties file using the exportprops ant command.
Is there any working around for this issue? Maybe it is a text encoding issue and chaning some setting on OS or JVM level can resolve this?
I understand that : is replaced with \: in the generated properties file for URL. Are you facing any issues while running the prpcServiceUtils.bat file.
As long as you have specified the valid URL pega.rest.server.url in below format in prpcServiceUtils.properties, you should not face any issue during the execution even though the generated properties has URL with escaped charater for :
In the generated properties file pega.rest.server.url value has the malformed :\. Hence it is not working. However if I skip the ant step and directly hardcode the path prpcServiceUtils.properties file in the Windows Back step it works. However it limits the dynamic nature of the process.
