Query on "Hostbridge" connector to integrate Pega with Mainframe Systems
I am working on project where System of Record is Mainframe and currently there is no integration between the Mainframe and Pega. I searched and found that there is “Hostbridge” connector which is available to integrate Pega with Mainframe systems which are running on Z/OS and Z/VSE Operating systems.
Request forum to share the following,
1. Case studies/real-life examples which relate to successful implementation of Hostbridge connector
2. Documents/tutorials which help understand how Hostbridge works to integrate Mainframes with Pega.

Thanks for your inputs. I understand Hostbridge exists, and it works with CICS Applications. However, wanted to understand if it can also work with IMS, which is another major mainframe system. Also, want to know
1. Some real-life cases where it has been used and proven to be successful in integrating Pega with IMS or CICS Mainframe systems.
2. Does Hostbridge work with all versions of Z/OS and Z/VSE?
Pega Robotics can be used to integrate with mainframe and host systems. This integration is accomplished through the emulator and specifically the HLLAPI API interface. If your mainframe emulator supports HLLAPI (most paid emulators do), then it will work. If not, emulators are cheap and would would simply need to install one that supports HLLAPI into the machine(s) running robots to support this interface.
