Reduce Page Load time after Browser Cache Deleted
We have a requirement in our organization, due to security reason users are advised to clear browser cache in periodical manner, but they are complaining that after browser cache cleared, Pega UI applications are taking longer time to load when they launch first time. My management looking for solution, Is there a way to retain pega static java script files somewhere in the user desktop. Or can pega reduce loading static content. This issue is not happening other Angular 2 based applications, those are all faster than Pega apps when loading first time after browser cleared.

It is expected that the first time login will be taking more than expected when you clear the browser cache. Because pega product is having large repository of static content in the form of UI controls, layouts, charts and etc and It is also using UI frameworks internally to render the screen and to design the applications.
In pega product, all the static content is stored at PegaTemp directory in "StaticContent" folder. From this folder required files will be cached at browser when first login, If you clear the browser cache then again static files will be transmitted over the network to cache them at browser again. So, this is the reason you see the slight delay at first time login.
However, we have option to speed up the first time login if your architecture supports. i.e If you are using load Balancer in your architecture then "gzip_static" command used to zip your static content and put in load balancer. Whenever user request first time instead of sending from the server, load balancer will share the zip with browser to avoid slowness.
How to do this configuration at load balancer level is depend up on the load balancer you use and this can be verified by your LB administrator.
