We are using pega-marketing in the pega-cloud since january in version 8.5.2. In the past whenever we faced issues there we were asked when the last restart happened. Furthermore a lot of issues were solved by a clean restart.
Now I am wondering if I can prevent problems by a regular clean restart? Do you restart regularely?

I wonder if a clean restart helps to avoid problems before they happen. I am not concerned about 30 minutes of impairments during a restart compared to a couple of hours when we are investigating errors in the logfiles. And in the end a restart solves the problem.
