Remider Email using EWS(Exchange web service)

Hi Guys,

We are using OOTB EWS to set Appointment in Outlook.

We have switched off the reminder notification from the Pega application and allowed to take over the Outlook remider settings.

The 2 responsible properties of PEGA EWS which are used to set reminders are

1) ReminderIsSet - Flag to activate the reminder settings

2) ReminderMinutesBeforeStart - To set the reminder time (Outlook default is 15 mins)

Well these are the parameters which olny notifiy the user about the appointment [But does not send an reminder emails at all.]

Problem:

Few users of our application is complaining that they are receiveing reminder emails every now and then even a day before the appointment is set.

I am unsure what might be the root cause. We also recently upgraded to 7.2.2.

1) The upgrade has additional setting which is making this happen.

2) Is it the users Personal Outlook settings.
