The article references to download the log4j package, which is generally avalable from apache, however as of now, the latest version of the package is 2.11.1. It also looks like the tcpSocketServer feature has been removed from v2.9.1

However working with newer Log4J versions of that class is not recommended as the TcpSocketServer and the wire format has changed in the meantime and will not work correctly with the Log4J2 version shipped with Pega.
The recommended approach is to user the TcpSocketServer version from Log4J 2.6.2 that matches the version shipped with Pega since version 7.3.
