Reset Issue in the Dashboard while switching the Application
We have 2 Applications which users switch and use both the applications simultaneously. In the Dashboard, If the user selected "x" workbasket to see the list of cases in 1st application and switch to 2nd application. In the Dashboard, the report still shows of the same "x" workbasket. But as this workbasket not exists in the 2nd application it shows no results and which is a bug for the end user.
Analyzed all the possible ways to fix the issue but couldnt able to find the root cause to reset parameters/D_PortalContext which loads the report at Dashboard.
So, what do you want to happen? Do you want to hide the Workbasket because it is not applicable for application2? Or , do you want to display the correct number of assignments even in the application 2?
Can you also check if the workbasket is assigned to the users through the operator profile? or Is it through the workgroup configuration?
1, Initially if manager logins to the system, Dashboard displays urgent cases. If he selects a workbasket, then workbasket related cases are displayed.
2, Now he switched to 2nd application. At this point, Dashboard need to display urgent cases of the current application. But Still, the workbasket value which he selected in previous application remained as selected. Hence no cases are displayed as this workbasket not exists in the current application.
This is the issue. Please provide your inputs to get the urgent cases of the application after switching.
Screen refresh is happening, even the report definition which refers here will pulls out the data based on Data Page(D_PortalContext). I have explicitly resetting data on this Data page before execution of the report. Even though it is having the selected workbasket name at the time report definition is executed.
