Restore activity was calling everytime even it was deleted from specific ruleset
We have an activity in one of locked ruleset. due to some urgent requirements, we have save as this activity in production ruleset with amendments. now this requirement was no longer required.
I have open the history and restore this activity. but system still calling same rule as I amended previously.
I have tried below scenarios also, but system still calling the restored activity.
1) save as the restored activity in another higher production ruleset(from 01-03-01 to 01-03-02)
2) Deleted the activity from production ruleset
I have tried to opening called activity from tracer, getting the below error in both above scenarios.
**Failure opening the Rule Instance
Unable to open instance - Possible causes may be (1) Rule may no longer exist. (2) Availability of the rule may be set to No/Draft, Blocked or Withdrawn. (3) Circumstance of the rule may be preventing access. (4) Current date is not within the date range specified in the rule.
Could someone please help to resolve this issue? why system is calling this restored activity every time even it is not available.
