Robot Manager will be useful if automation have interaction with Pega Platform. Here is a guide for installation and setup: https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/documents/pega-robotic-automation-package-server-and-server-status-user-guide It is used together with Robot Manager (installed separately on Pega Platform) so that you are able to easily manage packages and configurations between user groups. There is also way to deploy runtime packages using network share folder or local folder setup without additional software installed. Options are listed here in section "Deploy to": http://help.openspan.com/80/Project_Configuration_and_Deployment/project_deployment_dialog_fields2.htm You will have to provide path to a package in RuntimeConfig.xml file or as "project" parameter for Runtime executable.
