Question
Robotic Studio Solution Architecture Recommendations
We had Pega representatives out at our company a few months back, during which time they briefly talked about new-ish architecture recommendations (see attached image). They recommended organizing Pega Studio solutions divided up into separate projects:
- Adapter projects at the first level for each third-party application being interrogated
- Activity projects composing the middle layer
- Controller and/or UI projects at the top layer
Coming from the world of .NET development, I am used to finding reams of code samples online, including full demo solutions, even if only with minimal functionality . However, I have yet to find much like this with Pega/OpenSpan. Does anyone know of any code samples that demonstrate the above architecture recommendations -- even if only comprised of stub projects -- just to demo how the projects are "wired up" together?
It would be great if some Pega moderators could step up, and either provides some links, or put in a request to the Pega development team to provide something like the above.
Hi
Courses on Pega academy do contain such examples and demos where there are separate projects for adapters, activities and controllers. Please have a look at Robotics Proficient course.
Probably it will be difficult to find any examples for download but you can follow the steps on the course to create your own examples.
