Root element missing error on opening Pega robotic studio

Hi,

studio throwing error "root element missing" on startup and solution file shows as incompatible.Please find the attached screenshot.

Hi,

 I made a open span solution  in Visual studio enterprise 2015 version 14.0.25431.01 update 3 and .NET framework version 4.6.01590 and I'm not able run the code in Visual studio enterprise 2015 version 14.0.25431.01 update 3 and .NET framework version 4.6.01055, getting error "Incompatible". Is this because of minor .net framework difference?
