RPA Interrogating IE Tabs/Frames
I am automating a process which creates a new request. This request appears in a tab and has several controls I need to interact with, but when interrogated, they do not show a target despite being matched. When the interrogation ends they lose the match.
Using the Web Control -> List Browsers and Frames I have a consist match to the frame as a container. Is there a way I can use this interrogated frame as the basis to gather it's subsequent controls? The page shown on the tab/frame has controls whose ids never change.
The children of the Request_iFrame was done without Global Web Page; however the issue exists with GWP enabled.
Still stuck on this issue. I've gone back through the Automation Essentials course but it mentions the existence of tabs but not really a solid example of how to interrogate them.
Strangely enough, anything on that bar doesn't play nice with interrogation, like the home button, even though the fourth element and beyond are the dynamic elements. I have tried using HookChildProcesses but I don't think that applies here, as well as, setting UseElementId to false while also trying the match rules that make sense. Nothing seems to stick so far.
Any advice maintaining matches with interrogating IE tabs would be appreciated.
