Hi - I have downloaded Pega personal edition. I built a section with a table being sourced by report definition and every thing was working perfectly. Then all of a sudden I can no longer open any report definition rules. I am always getting and error and it have completely stifled my development time. Please help.

Are you able to find your report definition instance in the RecordsExplorer-->Reports-->ReportDefinition category. If the report exists in this category, please run it standalone and check if it has results. Please let me know if the issue is observed even after server restart. Also, keep the complete Pega rules log stack trace which helps to find the root cause of this issue.
a. please turn on tracer settings 'DB Cache' and 'DB Query'; run the Report Definition stand alone OR through the actual UI scenario.
b.Notice on the tracer for any errors, fail statuses; more importantly, observe the SQL queries and try running the query (with proper SQL Inserts) on your DB directly.
c. Do you see the results?
if YES --> something wrong within your Pega application
if NO --> something might be wrong with the DB itself, please engage with your DB admins to see if they could help find the root cause
If you are still blocked on the issue, you can enter an SR by including the appropriate data (along with the SQL query) and we can help investigate the issue further. Please also let us know your DB type.
