Search Functionality Set Up
I'm trying to set up a search bar for the UI for users to input a string then upon clicking the Search button, a results table will be generated and displayed. I am not sure how to set up action sets and which one would suit this requirement. I created a report definition and a filter that should only display rows that match what was entered in the search bar but it would always return all the rows. Am I referencing the data wrong here? Please advise or point me to a helpful source(s).
The text box containing the search field property was not being saved so I had to run a "Refresh Section" action to persist the value to the property. Then the report definition would display according to what was put in the text field.
