I would suggest that you take a few thread dumps a few minutes apart to you can see whether it is moving or stationary or spinning. But I wasn't clear whether you are reporting two problems here or one. 1. Occasionally the agent appears to be stuck in a run. 2. At other times (even when not stuck in a run) the agent is processing events after the expected time ?
