Sharing Operators Table across applications(foreigntable)

We have 2 separate pega applications running on separate pega platforms. We want to track operator(s)/operator logins related to Application A within Application B to perform work assignment based on available/logged in operators.

Without duplicating/synchronizing operators across platforms, is there a possibility of designating pr_operators within data schema as a foreign data table to use this as a shared data store for authentication? Are foreign tables supported for pr_operators table? Are there any prior customer implementations using pr_operators as a foreign table? Will operator ID updates work seamlessly(like the pyLastSignOn Update for example) if we designate pr_operators as a foreign table?
