Our DB/Mainframe team complains that the sppr_sys_reservequeueitem_b is getting executed almost all the time (getting executed multiple times even in a single second) and saying this is causing mainframe slowness leading to recycle.
We don’t have any processes executing which are using the out of the box queues. Any idea what is triggering this OOTB SP.
I'm not sure what processes specifically use it, but I do know we use it out of the box. I believe one example would be incremental indexing. I don't think it being called a lot is itself a problem, but we'd need to take a deeper look into any performance issues you may be having.
