what are the steps we have to follow after the Email Account Receivers password has been reset?
what had been followed from our side:
1. Update password
2. Test Connectivity
Below is the error: This is the same error we had after the password had been expired.
Overall Result Status - Fail:Configuration Message - The server indicated that the authentication credentials for this Email Account are incorrect.

3. Restart the Email Listener

Did you get a chance to verify the new credentials using any other email client ?
Also, you could try to perform Test Connectivity of another Email Account rule configured for other test account (may be of public email providers like GMail, Yahoo) and then validate the PRPC behavior by switching between valid and invalid passwords.
issue is due to Client IT team has changed the Email Account as the shared Mailbox, where it should be always regular user and can be login interactively. They had changed it to Normal user account now. all Clear and Cool.!
