Stop Framework guardrails appearing in implementation layer
We have built our framwork application on top of two other framework applications. However, we find several guardrail warnings of the built on apps appearing in our guardrail list and has lowered our compliance score.
How do i avoid framwork guard rails from interfering with my application compliance score.. Is this the expected behaviour or is it a bug?
You can select only your current application on the guardrails landing page, I guess that is the default option.
All the rules from the ruleset within the current application will get included, make sure that your current application is not having any framework rulesets listed in it directly instead build your application as built on framework applications.
Actually, we are built on a framework called CIF and hence i did not expect their rules to influence our app's score.
But i later realized that (due to some issues) the entire stack of our built on layer CIF has been added to our own stack. hence we are no longer a built on.. The app became part of our application itself.
