I have a requirement where I have to use submit and get next work on the same button from perform harness. I have configured in action button (finish assignment and Get Work) and it is working fine however problem is if there is any message on the current case I want to stop get next work. can someone help me with this?
Note:I am using 7.1.5 where I can't have the option to use when rule in action of button.
Could you use the back-to-back processing option on the flow action instead? The back-to-back processing options can be configured on the Action tab of the flow action rule. There is an option there to run Get Next Work if another assignment is not being performed.
Thanks for your reply. I did try doing that and in the activity I called the Work- GetNextWork activity but even though the case was pulled and assigned to the user (I traced and saw these steps appear), on the UI the new case never gets launched. I assumed that the out of box Get Next Work action has some other steps defined? If there is a way to get around that situation that you may know of I would be happy to give it a try.
Ended up doing something similar. Added disable conditions on the buttons so that user can't proceed unless fields are filled. Doesn't meet the requirements exactly but will have to do. Thanks for your reply!
