I am trying to use the function substring to determine an action that must be taken when the first position of a value does not starts with a specific letter:@substring(.ReferenceNumber,0,1)!="F"However, when I run my process is not working. I tried to run from the decision table and it keeps giving me a wrong result. I attached a picture with the test Page Result. What I used, that works great was !@startsWith(.ReferenceNumber,"F"). However, I dont understand why the substring validation is given an unexpected result.Any Thoughts? Pega Platform Low-Code App Development ×Close popoverFacebookTwitterLinkedinEmail Copy Link Copied! Refer to the attached screens for matched and not matched scenarios. Could you try the same way I tested and see if you are still seeing the wrong results? I have placed the screen shot of Issue and workaround to solve this. Yes, it worked great using the property defined on the top and then comparing with =="F" or !="F", so I will take that solution for now. Have a great day!
