I have a 2 new requirement like this and I would like to match these requirements with PEGA.
I would like to develop this requirements in PEGA.
a) Requirement 1:
There is a team of 45 resources, My client want to track their activity tracking against their assignments. Also they want see portfolio/reforecast for future.
b) Requirement 2:
There is a Project & Portfolio management (CA PPM tool) application, It has all the data like Projects with assignments and Resources along with activity tracking data. They want see forecast in separate tool (Already exist Java Xnet application), it's called as "Capacity planning". Normally the data pulled from CA PPM tool appliation. No, data will be entered in this application, Just to see the forecast. The forecast completely based on the data pulled from CA PPM application.
The above 2 requirements will be fit in PEGA or not. Based on your answer, I will do suggest.
Have you looked at the Pega Agile Studio. That is the tool that integrates with PEGA platform and other applications for Project management of Requirements and the project development. Agile like, but within the requirements User stories for Technology or etc. you have assignment ability and time management.
It is not the version of PM our x-functional business use where in place of a normal Distributor relationship, we would Work to sell our products directly into a "Project Scope". They want the management of all pre and post phases including Material scheduling time and shop floor management etc. Looking into the Build of AS an example of use in the Platform proper or seeing it AS supports what you need may be something to look at.
