Unable to interrogate Power Builder custom application in SAP
There is an internal application built in Power Builder that I cannot interrogate. The application is accessed via a custom SAP transaction. Regardless of the settings I use, I still cannot get it to interrogate any object.
Do you have access to Process Explorer? If the application in PowerBuilder is started by SAP in such a way that it is not a child of SAP, then you may need another adapter. Process Explorer can help you identify this as it will show the process hierarchy. If the process is indeed within SAP but still a separate process, you will likely need to enable HookChildProcesses on the adapter. If it is in an external process, then you might try creating a new adapter whose StartMethod is MonitorAll and the path is set to the PowerBuilder application's exe. To use MonitorAll, the adapter must be started before you launch the process, so start interrogation on it first before you launch or start interrogation on SAP.
Lastly, if the application is not part of a separate process and you are still unable to interrogate controls within it, then you'll likely need some hands-on assistance. For that, you can open a support request.
