Question
Unable to remove header rows for excel export of report definition
Hello,
Our customer asked to remove the 2 rows of the header "Report Name" and "Filter Condition" during export of Excels Reports, but not while visualizing the report.
After many tries on report configuration, I wasn't able the completely remove those 2 rows yet.
The way I found is to customize the HTML rule "pzListViewExcelData", skipping the lines in which it appends those informations inside a <tr> row. Unluckily, this is a final version rule.
How can we request to get a "non-final" version of this rule? Or is there an OOTB way to get this requirement satisfied?
Our Pega version is 7.1.9
Thanks in advance,
Marco
I don't think we have a solution for you. The checkbox to hide the filters will also hide the filters are runtime, so that sounds like it will not work for you. Even if it did, to make matters worse, there is a defect in some releases where, when you disable and hide the filters, it also hides the title as well. (It was not intended to do both).
Ironically enough, it sounds like with that defect in place, it's the behavior you're looking for. But ultimately still will not help you since it will affect the runtime display as well, and not just for exporting.
