This issue may happen on chrome, if you are using touchscreen.
Try following steps to disable touch events in Chrome and retry the menus:
- Open Chrome and type chrome://flags/ in the address bar to search for experimental features.
- Search for Enable resampling input events and click on Enable touch events > Disabled.
- If you do not find Enable resampling input events flag, search for Touch UI Layout and disable that.
- If you do not find Touch UI Layout search for Touch Events API and disable that.
The touch event flag may depend upon your chrome version. Restart chrome and retry.
