Unwanted mobile device keyboard show up on button click and radio button click
This is a question related to testing on real device (iPhone 6s). When clicking on radio buttons, or regular buttons, sometimes unwanted mobile keyboard shows up. It's impacting user experience badly since it blocks the rest of screen. User has to click "Done" to hide the keyboard.
Not all radio buttons and buttons have this behavior. The issue doesn't always show up on same button. We couldn't find a reason for this behavior.
Can anyone help? Thanks.
Few things to check:
- is there a blutooth keyboard connected to the device. If yes, try without that keyboard connected to the device.
- if you notice in the screenshot that you have shared, the keyboard is predicting to correct the word C1, which is in the label of radio button (and is non-editable). I am not sure but you may want to try to resetting iPhone settings to default (especially accessibility settings). There seems to something in the device settings that's kicking in.
