Update to AES 7.3.0.1 - Prerequisite Question
Referencing this source: https://pdn.pega.com/upgrading-pega-autonomic-event-services-73/upgrading-pega-autonomic-event-services-73
Prerequisite 3 states that the Pega Platform must be updated to 7.3 before updating AES to 7.3.0.1. My question is, can the Pega Platform for AES be updated to 7.3.1 instead of 7.3 and then update AES to 7.3.0.1?
Hi Dayton,
Thanks for posting on PSC.
I have went through an article related with compatibility of AES versions with Pega base product.
It was reported as there were issues deploying AES 73 on PRPC 731
PegaAES 73 can monitor Pega platform 55, 61, 62, 63, 71, 72, 73 and 731.
PegaAES 73 was developed and tested running on platform 73.
There appears to be a problem deploying Pega73 on platform 731 - the distribution media for AES 73 includes custom jar libraries in the root directory of the rulesets, while the platform is expecting that libraries will be in a /LIB sub-directory.
To install AES 73, one must use platform 73, or repackage the files to load on 731. The repackaging instructions will be posted to PDN shortly.
New build of AES is now available as AES 7.3.0.1. AES 7.3 has been withdrawn along with AES 72 and AES 717.
Refer it:- It contains detailed information.
