This is strange behavior. Is this application deployed in PostgreSQL database prior to upgrade?, Could you please confirm whether all the post upgrade steps(mandatory and optional) have been completed. Please find below the link on post upgrade steps.
I am facing the same issue after upgrading a test system fom 7.2.1 to 8.5.1. Upgrade was done following the steps mentioned in the particular upgrade guide.
The bad news is that I cannot properly reproduce the issue but I am facing different issues...
Clearing the DB cache helped once.
After restarting the entire system, the issue occured again but clearing the DB cache was no more helpful. I had to delete prweb.war and prweb folder, clearing the DB cache and re-deploy the prweb.war.
This procedure did not help at all after restarting the entire system one more time. At the moment, I cannot startup Pega at all but the system always stucks at the mentioned log entry.
Any additional idea or suggestion?
