This is not currently supported. Here is the support matrix showing supported technologies.

We do have support for Citrix. This does requires Pega Robotics to be installed on the Citrix instance.

Hi Jeff,
Connecting to remote desktops is still not compatible with Pega or Is it something Pega considering in pipeline?
I am looking into 1 use case that requires robot to connect to multiple RDP sessions and perform different commands.
I would appreciate your response.

Hi Mrinal,
Connecting to RDP sessions is still not supported. For your use case, have you thought of other ways to accomplish this? Using RPA you could set these sessions up as robots and connect them to a robotics console to manage the work that they do.

Hey Jeff,
Thanks for your reply.
Do you mean instead of connecting multiple desktops from one machine, I can create multiple robots for each session and then schedule them through console?
For the above approach do I have to then install runtime on each remote desktop or is there any other way to accomplish the same.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Jeff, couple of follow-up questions regarding this:
1) Can you please explain how this can be achieved? As Mrinal has mentioned, do we have to setup runtime environments in each of the remote desktops and then invoke them using the console?
2) The above link https://support.openspan.com/link/portal/9147/9147/Article/489/Application-Support-Matrix to the application support matrix is not working, can you please provide the correct one.

You would need to install Runtime on each machine and have each one operate as a separate bot.
