Very frequent log off happening in Production why?

We have been experiencing very frequent log off from Pega Designer as well as from Business portal even though we are actively working (session is not ideal), very strange behaviour. Why is this happening? where and all the places we need to check? any configuration timeout  we need to set? Pls help me.

This issue is happening only in production and we are not facing this issue in lower environments (Dev, QA, PreProd) and that to since yesterday morning and we have not done any deployments either in production. I tried in IE, Mozilla as well, I have cleared browser cache and restarted my PC, still  the same issue I am facing. We have cleared server cache and restarted production server as well. Still the same issue. Any suggestions?
