Question
VM machine downloaded seems corrupt
HI
am having issues with the downloaded VM image for the course - 'Designing & Implementing Mobile solutions 7.1'.
The archive gets downloaded without issues. However when I try extracting the archive using 7-zip, while the extraction seems to complete successfully, it issues me a warning - 'Unexpected End of data' in the 7-zip extraction window.

VM machine downloaded seems corrupt
Hi,
I am having issues with the downloaded VM image for the course - 'Designing & Implementing Mobile solutions 7.1'.
The archive gets downloaded without issues. However when I try extracting the archive using 7-zip, while the extraction seems to complete successfully, it issues me a warning - 'Unexpected End of data' in the 7-zip extraction window.
After I have extracted the archive using 7-zip, I get the below error when I try extracting/importing the OVA file I get the below error. While the error complains about disk space running out, I have about 9GB of free space in the drive I am extracting it to. I have also attached some screenshots for reference.
Failed to import appliance C:\Users\sudripta.ch\Documents\BPM\Pega\Pega 7 Mobility\VM\mobility_718_VM_20160708\Mobility.ovf.

It is quite possible that even with 9GB on the host, you are indeed running out of space! I create VMs regularly and in my experience, a Linux VM Pega installation takes anywhere from 9-11GB. With all the other frameworks and additional courseware application installed, and add to that the temporary files that will be used when extracting the archive, it is not surprising that you easily ran out of space.
Can you please try to clear some space on your host and re-extract again? If you can't, try to extract on another computer where you have ample HDD size.
