The Business Architect role is critical to ensuring the desired business benefits of a Pega project are understood and realized. Business Architects act as advocates for business managers and users. They work closely with subject-matter experts and other project stakeholders to understand and prioritize business needs, objectives, and requirements. Business Architects work with the application development team to develop and deliver solutions that enable the desired business benefits to be realized. A Business Architect helps define and maintain business rules, service-level agreements, cases, processes, and other key application assets.
To succeed as a Business Architect, we must:
Successfully engage business users and experts
Lead the team to identify, prioritize, and remain focused on the desired business benefits, objectives, and requirements
Work closely with system architects and testers to develop and deliver solutions that realize the desired business benefits
