The Lead System Architect (LSA) is engaged in all aspects of a project, they design the Pega solution end-to-end. Using a Business Architect’s functional design the LSA creates the technical design, develops the enterprise class structure and reviews infrastructure requirements such as data architecture definitions and data management plans. The LSA leads technical teams, delivers technical guidance and advice, enables team members, and provides knowledge transfer to the customer. To succeed, the Lead System Architect must:

Successfully translate functional design into a technical solution using Pega best practices
Ensure adherence to the Pega development guardrails
Work closely with customer architects to ensure approval
Provide leadership and mentoring to other members of the technical team
