The breadcrumbs control shows each task, or entry point, in a flow execution. Application users can click a task based on settings in the flow. The flow can allow users to jump to any task in a flow, or just to the completed tasks.
An entry point in a flow rule is a shape that a user can return to at runtime. To mark a shape as an entry point, select the Entry point check box in the property panel. When this is selected, at runtime the breadcrumb control allows return to this task name only after the entire subprocess is completed.
When executing a screen flow rule, users can return to an entry point using the Backbutton or clicking a completed tab.
When executing other flows, users can return to an earlier, completed entry point in a flow (or in flows that called this flow) using the breadcrumbs control. Most commonly, developers mark assignment shapes or and Subprocess shapes as entry points.
