I have reviewed the above mentioned article already and it speaks about the scenario with DB server restart.I am curious to know about the DB server failover/switch.

I have updated the Related Support Case Number field to reflect the enhancement request raised. Since you are a Pega employee, you would have the access to check that in our internal portal PMF to find out the status.
You could take the enhancement request ID stated in that post (FDBK-16215) back to your Pega Account Executive. They will be able to help you with finding out the status and will also be able to drive this further for you.
