The Script Editor was enhanced in build 8.0.1038. Scripts created in earlier builds must contain valid syntax before you can rebuild the projects that contain them. To resolve this issue, open the script in a project after you upgrade to version 8.0.1038 or later. This converts the script into the new format. Then correct any errors in the script.
Typically, errors found in old style scripts occur because of a missing ‘using’ clause or simply because the enhanced script editor more strictly enforces syntax standards. After you correct the errors, rebuild the project.
It is a good practice to click Validate or choose Build Project when creating scripts to check for errors.
