Deleted Rule from backend but seen in fron end- Not able to delete
I did a private checked out in 7.1.8 and after that I was not able to login. This rule gets called when we login.
Post that, I deleted the activity from pr4_rule from DB. I am able to login but the rule shows in my checked out. When opened it shows below error,
Unable to open instance - Possible causes may be (1) Rule may no longer exist. (2) Availability of the rule may be set to No/Draft, Blocked or Withdrawn. (3) Circumstance of the rule may be preventing access. (4) Current date is not within the date range specified in the rule.
Please suggest how to remove the rule from my check out.

Thanks Chetan, your solution worked for me as well. I tried first removing it from pegasa.pwbv4_rule_locking, which took it out of my private check out lists but the checked out rule was still showing from the Ruleset display.
When i deleted from pr4_rule_vw table, it completely cleared out everything. Thanks again for posting this
Since we have upgraded to P7 we are observing some issues for loading of Sections slowly in the Designer Studio.The main pain comes where we try to delete a rule from the Delete button, the loading symbol rotates for about 2-3 minutes and then the confirm delete rule popup will be loaded.
Does any one has the same kind of issue post upgrade.If so is there any hotfix or solution for this
