Using windows authentication for SQL Server in properties file

Currently I am able to access SQL Server through windows authentication in management studio. Can we use the same (windows authentication) in upgrade activities?

I tried it in below mentioned ways but still facing the issue.

  1. Configured windows credentials in properties file.I could see this error "Connection validation failed".
  2. Configured additional parameter in JDBC URL i.e "IntegratedSecurity=true" and I could see this error "This driver is not cofigured for integrated authentication"

Can we use the windows authentication in upgrade activities or Is it mandatory to use the login credentials?
