When you create two different case types A-Work and B-Work, the system normally creates two different classes called History-A-Work and History-B-Work that contains the notes for each of those case types.
It wasn't clear whether your desire is to have a way of displaying the union of the notes in both of those classes, or if your desire was to have a new class called something like History-BothAandB that contains a third set of notes that are general notes that the users choose to write that refer to both case types.
I have created how to add a case Notes using default Section called "PzLocalAction", in that we get a parameters tab where in we fill the action name as "pyWorkNotes". with the help of this action i am able to add a case notes. But in my requirement it is given that i have to add 3 categories(please refer my above posted question). I need help on where to customize these 3 categories.
- Create a Data Type named CaseNotes. That data type should have columns as CaseID(which is basically the pyID of the case) ,Note and TimeStamp. The CaseID and TimeStamp both should be key columns.
-Create a section for managing case notes. This will have a grid to display all case notes. The Grid lay out should be populated from the Report Definition which will have parameter as the CaseID and it will retrieve all notes from the Data Type using the CaseID. In the grid there should be option to add and delete notes. Each time the section is submitted , the newly created notes should be added to the Data Type.
- Wherever applicable embed the above section. The places should be Case Wide Local actions .
- To add notes to Resolved cases, user should have a screen to search with case ID where user will have the section to add new nodes.
-It will be easier if in the section we can have 2 grids one is to show existing notes and one is to add new notes.
