Mobile offline functionality is not working

Context:

Currently we have moved to Pega 8.4.

Many of the mobile app functionality have been moved within the UI of Pega.

When creating a mobile app, using the advanced tab, we have been able to enable the offline mode again.

 

Issue:

However, after generating and installing the mobile app, with offline enabled.

After logging on, the message "Data synchronisation failed" appears.

And logon is aborted.
